The Google advertisement for these people claimed to be a "Narcononalternative" which prompted me to wonder if they were actually talkingabout Narcotics Anonymous which is some times called "NarCANon." ButMr. Goldfarb informed me that he wasn't in any way connected with theScientology cult but thay they do use steam and sauna, "but none ofthat cult stuff."

I had mentioned that I was thinking they were a fake front for the cultsince Google advertisements cropped up the "Narconon alternative."

The guy said his process is "just common sense, getting rid of thetoxins and stuff." But they use "holistic" methods... like acupunctureand other Newage (rhymes with Sewage) notions instead of the Scientologyquack medical frauds Hubbard dreamed up while cooking on dope himself.

Any way, I thought it was bizarre that someone would advertise themselvesas a "Narconon alternative." _Science_ and _medicine_ are "Narcononalternatives," after all.
