I have a degree in Oriental Medicine, AyurVedic Medicine, Swedish andOriental Massage, I studied bio-chemistry in college, when I am well I am amodel, I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin...and surely Icould go on. Right now I am very concentrated on getting as well as I canpossibly be so I am online a lot researching and talking with people. Andyou know what? I've been pretty astonishingly successful at that, too. Ifeel marvelous.I like to talk about alternative health care methods...and thats what I amseeking out. That is what I am doing here....that right now is a big focusin my life.

Answer: I just got back from a monthsvacation so this is the first time you will have seen me. Michael Baugh does*not* have/had FM. He does massage therapy on people with FM but has had*no* formal training in massage therapy. These facts bother many of us.Personally, I feel only trained individuals such as yourself should be doingmassage work on those with FM. Michael obviously disagrees.

You have an very interesting background. Where did you get your degree inOriental medicine? My graduate degree is from Bastyr University in Seattle(MS Nutrition) and I taught there for four years. (They also have a Orientalmedicine program.) Needless to say I am also into alternative medicine. Ijust finished writing a book on red yeast rice- a Chinese remedy for highcholesterol. I've also written books on juicing, heart disease, diabetes,and cancer as well as a number of whole foods cookbooks.

I've never been a model but was once told by a photographer I couldmodel jeans because my butt looked so good. Unfortunately that was 25 yearsago and my butt in now located just behind my Achilles tendon.. However, Iused to be an Irish dancer and dance teacher so my legs still look great. (Ionce went out drinking and dancing with Michael Flatley of Riverdance fame.Details by request!) I am also a mother but he ran away to Washington DC tobecome a politician. (Kids can be so ungrateful!)

And I have FM and pulmonary hypertension. Unfortunately, the only treatmentfor the latter makes the former worse.
