Question:
What is a good home remedy for a bladder infection?

I have been taking macrobid for a few days now,but nothing seems to be relieving it.Drinking water,cranberry juice and green tea,but still my urine is a dark color....anyone else know of any other home remedy for bladder infection? No i was diagnosed by the emergency room for a bladder infection.Macrobid is what they prescribed.Im not self medicating,and i do plan to take it till it is gone..but i've missed 3 days of work and i need to get back to work ASAP.This is why i asked.It's not hepitis or kidney falure..if so my back would be hurting and i'd have alot more problems to go with this.

Answer: I found a good cure at the health food store. Get Uva Ursi, it is a liquid, and you put so many drops under your tongue, and it really works!! It is a bit bitter, but its the first thing I reach for when I get a bladder infection. My daughter uses it as well. Hope it works for you, and take care.
