Question: I posted to this website a couple of days ago concerning a condition knownas blepharitis. It had been recommended to me that I apply calendula lotionto my eyelids and surrounding tissue 2-3 times a day to reduce the rednessand inflammation. Yet after only two or three days of use, my eyes becameeven more red and inflamed. Is it possible that a calendula ointment with"1x" active ingredient is produced according to different homeopathicprotocols than a calendula lotion with "10%" active ingredient (BTW, both aremade by Boiron Homeopathy @ vitamins.com)? Should I give up on the lotionand try the ointment preparation? Once again, any help would be greatlyappreciated, and thank you to those who responded to my last post.
Answer: See a doctor.
