Question: Can you include a definition of therapy please? Actually I think the definition helps clarify our differences. You have a view of massage from a very medical perspective. Far more than most LMT's have (lets assume just the non-sexual ones).Webster's says therapy is "treatment for a mental or physical disorder". That does along with all your concern about sexual addictions, abuse etc.
Answer: I dont look at massage from a medical perspective- I look at licenscedmassage Therapy - from a medical perspective.Dont polarise the issue- My argument is with terminology and how its bandiedabout. We veiw massage similarly- we disagree on where sexual behavior needsto take place.I say that erotic massage is somethign that should be betweentwo people who are clear in intention as to what will take place.I thinkunder no circumstances should a session booked as therapy include sexualactivity and agree with most therapists that erotic massage is an artrelated to but separate from the term massage therapy. I have been a happy consumer of erotic massage therapy and I veexperienced other ,less professional forms of massage and I think Iunderstand the norms of how it is performed well.
