Question:
Quick at-home cold sore remedy?

Ok, well I have a nasty cold sore, and I looked in my medicine cabinet, and I don't have any cold sore lip treatment. So does anyone know any at-home remedies that will make it go away faster?

Answer: In the past when I would start to get one..putting ice in a plastic bag..with a damp paper towel around it would help stop the growth of the cold sore...leave on for a good while...at least until ice melts..its cold but helped...

also sometimes using Campho-Phenique dries it out and helps too.....best thing is to catch it before it gets to big.
