Are there any home remedies for dandruff that really work??

I have really bad dandruff (i have had it for many years) and i would like to know if there are any home remedies that actually cures dandruff!!?? ... i have tryed head and shoulders anti-dandruf but this did not help... in fact it only made it worse!!also i have dry skin and i get flakes of skin coming off the rest of my body.. but body lotion takes this away... but i cant put body lotion on my head...!!

Answer: Theres a home remedy of putting yogurt in your hair and then washing after an hour so. But if u have that bad dandruff use a medicated shampoo.....try to alternate it with ur regular shampoo....if its still there consult ur dermatlogist.
