Question: Does anyone know anything about homoepathy with regard to a cat with a fibrosarcoma? Our guy is 14+ and has already had the tumor excised. We have been told that radiation is a possibility for further treatment but that would entail driving Bear 3+ hours away to a teaching-type vet hospital, leaving him for about 3 weeks during which he would undergo general anesthesia daily while he gets the treatments, etc, etc. All of this would be rather traumatic for the cat, not to mention costing mucho dineros (apologies to Spanish speaking people who might read this!). Someone suggested that homeopathy might be another option, so any and all info would be greatly appreciated.
Answer: Homeopathy is not regarded as real medicine by most veterinarians orphysicians. It is almost a cult that rest on very shaky bases. Get a goodencyclopedia at your local library and read a bit about it before commitingmoney and hopes to it.
