Question:
Definition of "holistic"?

I found the definition of "holistic" but I still didn't get the meaning as it doesn't provide much explanation. I search elsewhere and found alot of links about holistic education, living medicine. Can someone please provide a detail meaning?

Answer: The sense of it is dealing with the whole thing not individual parts, the entirety of a system not its components. So holistic medicine is concerned with the wellness of the person not with the digestive system, the spine, cancerous tumors etc.
