Question:
For those feeding their dogs holistic food, I have a question. I am feedingmine a Pitcairn diet. This particular recipe calls for brown rice as thefiller (about 1/2 cup brown rice to about 1 cup meat/veggie mix). My dog hassuddenly become really picky about the rice. (it took me a while to figurethis out). I have tried a high quality kibble, bran cereal, and barley, allto no avail. She picks around the fiber and eats the veggies and meat. Doesany one have any suggestions?

Answer: I feed my dogs Innova kibble, supplemented with a meat/veggie/grain mush as youdescribe. I buy organic millet and quinoa in bulk at nearby health food stores.The quinoa is very flavorful and the grains are teeny tiny even after cooking.My dogs love it and they couldn't pick it out even if they didn't. Millet isalso a tasty small grain, but I think the quinoa is more digestible.
