1.) How has the popularity of Holistic Health increased or decreasedin the past five years?

2.) Why do you feel that Holistic Health care treatments work betterthan conventional treatments?

3.) Do you feel that Holistic medicine and conventional medicinecould ever merge to be one?

4.) In the last five to ten years have Holistic Health care treatmentschanged at all?

Answer: It is on the rise. Holistic Health has been around for thousands of years butpeople are becoming more and more aware of it in the past few years. I wouldn't prefer one over the other. However, generally speaking, Holistictreatments tend to work better in the area of prevention. Holistic Health alsotends to take into account the spiritual and emotional component. However, ifI was in a car accident, I wouldn't want to be taken to an herbalist, but to atrauma center. Also, because this holistic field is largely unregulated, thereare many many medical quacks who will try to sell you products that claim tocure just about everything! You've already seen it with weight loss programs.But both are complementary and one should not be seen as superior to the other. They certainly are merging. Read Andrew Weil M.D.s book 8 Weeks to OptimumHealth....I think thats the name of it, anyhow it's a bestseller. He's amedical doctor who has embraced some holistic practices. He is now workingwith a training program for doctors that teaches them some of these tecniques.Also, I personally know a holistic health practicioner who is going intopractice with a surgeon! I don't know if they've changed, just that people are becoming more aware ofones that have already been there for a long time.
