Question:
I've since found out that the Missing Link is a food suppliment, not afood in itself, I misread the ad. But has anyone here tried HolisticGold / Holistic Blend food for their cats (or dogs)? It doesn't use anysalt, sugar, corn, wheat, animal by-products, animal fats, dyes orchemicals, and so sounds kind of interesting. Especially since Proctor &Gamble will be buying Iams (my guys eat Eukanuba) and will probably alterthe ingredients. For anyone who hasn't heard of this stuff, but isinterested in knowing the ingredients, they are:barley & millet, alfalfa, garlic, bee pollen, rosemary, ground brown rice, flax seed, cranberries, yucca, cinnamon, amaranth, menhaden herring fish, and New Zealand lamb meat (though not in that order, I'm sure).

Anyone here used it? Even if you haven't, how do these ingredients soundto you? I'm waiting for a catalog and free sample from them, so I'll getto see how the guys like it when it arrives. Hmm...sounds interestingthough.

Answer: I am very interested IF your cat(s) will eat this holistic pet foodthat you mentioned. My cat is very picky. But I know that I must find somehealthier meat* alternatives to feed him. He's been eating "Fancy feast" formany years, supplemented with dry food for his fiber needs, etc.

Years ago when the canned food "Hills Diet" came out I had tried to get myboy* to eat it....but he couldn't stand the stuff! He is now over fourteenyears old and I really want to find a canned food that is healthy for him, hiskidneys, and that he will eat, and Likes(!?). The ingredients that you wrotebelow sound GREAT (to ME I just don't know if Blue would eat it. Pleaselet me know if your babies* like it, and what the catalog's email address is,if you don't mind.
