Home Remedies For Hair

Question:
Lighten hair home remedies?

I have black hair. I am in a wedding this weekend. All of the other girls have lighter hair so the bride wants to see if i could lighten my hair. Now...i dont have a lot of money. Are their any home remedies that i can try? And also, it it rainy and so it will have to be without the use of sunlight. Please help thanks for any info

Answer: Make a mix of half honey and half conditioner (whatever conditioner you usually use) apply to damp hair and comb through well. Pile the hair up on top of your head and wrap it in saran wrap, then a towel. Let it sit for eight hours. You can use a hairdryer over the towel to warm it all up. Wash the concoction out. Honey produces peroxide as it sits and lightens your hair.well firstly (no offense) the bride seems to be being a *****....

it's not your fault you have black hair.

if it's dyed black, you're screwed no matter what. It'll take months to get the black out. You need a color stripper, and a lot of hair bleach

If it's a natural color I would normally suggest lemon juice - it works for me (but more for slight highlights - and being in the sun or under a blowdryer help a lot)

but as your hair is black..

I'm sorry but you might have to dye your hair - you can buy a home kit if you'd like, they run from 5$-10$ each, buy two if you have long and/or thick hair - i'd suggest having an experianced friend apply it.
