Answer: Now THAT is a bunch of hooey. Giving antibiotics for meningitis doesn'tcure, and merely treats symptoms? Performing surgery for appendicitisdoesn't cure? Do you think Lance Armstrong merely had his symptoms treatedafter having cancer in his testicles, lungs, and brain? How do you thinksmallpox was eradicated? How do you think polio was eradicated from thewestern hemisphere? There is some evidence that supports the claims ofpotential benefits of some homeopathic treatments, but it's a dangerous andmisleading generalization to claim that allopathic medicine doesn't cure butmerely treats symptoms. What would you do if one of your family members hada fever and stiff neck or had a fever and severe right lower quadrantabdominal pain? Would you rely on homeopathic treatment for that?
