Question:
Why is it when we are asked to ask our doctors concerning natural health, They run from us??

I like to try natural things first before the drugs etc. . But we need to ask our doctor things, almost everytime it is all negative comments. Fro example Fish oil Omega 3's. have be proven to really health in many areas of our health. In the doctors office was well written article about Omega 3 in their doctors journal magazine. My doctor told me it was like '"BS!". I take the omega 3's for 8 months now and my blood pressure is normal!! without the drugs. I did not tell the doctor. He thinks I am still on the drugs. He will now want to hear another story from me about fish oil!!

Answer: Mostly it's ignorance from the doctor. They haven't done the research on it, so they cannot recommend it. My doctor usually says "it probably wont hurt you", but he doesn't recommend it since most natural remedies are not approved or monitored by FDA. They don't have to really tell you what's in it, it might say fish oil, but you might be getting cactus juice. The point is a lot of doctors don't want to take responsibility for this, so therefore don't recommend it. If you feel more comfortable there are homeopathic doctors out there that might be able to better assist you since you'd rather go natural than chemical.
