A Safe and Natural / Herbal product or home remedy to detangle very Frizzy and EASILY ENTANGLED hair type?

My Mother has very frizzy thin black hair and they get tangled very easily and alot, she has them a little below shoulder length and braids them, but they get tangled so much that she takes atleast 1 hour to detangle and rebraid her hair, and she is so so annoyed with it, she doesnt want to use the products on the market because she is afraid it will spoil/damage her hair(i guess good natural products should work), She uses johnsons baby shampoo bcoz she finds that its the safest, what good natural/herbal/home remedy will help keep her hair detangled or atleast less tangled and less frizzy without causing any damage?
